The Agri-Technology Commercialization Centre, located in the University of Guelph Research Park in Ontario, Canada, is a single point of contact for entrepreneurs, researchers, and companies (early-stage to multi-nationals) who are growing businesses in the cutting edge fields of agriculture and biotechnology. Under one roof, the Centre houses: Bioenterprise Corporation, Ontario Agri-Food Technologies, and Soy 20/20 along with staff from other agriculture organizations. Each organization has specialized industry knowledge and market expertise that can help entrepreneurs find capital and increase their profitability. As a collective, the Centre can provide agri-technology entrepreneurs with a cross-section of expertise, including technology transfer, marketing, sales, financing and legal. The Agri-Technology Commercialization Centre is part of the Innovation and Sciences Suite of programs for Growing Forward, a federal-provincial-territorial initiative. |
